Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian and her mother Swiss. Her family lived within Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a tiny town located in the Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. With their sister Nina they attended schools with kids of all races and cultures. Isabel lives within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel began acting in school. Her next step was to pursue a degree in drama in The Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and also has recently been studying in the PEM method Perdekamp The Emotional Method. Her auditions were not for any part until asked through her agency in the year 2002. She auditioned for part on Home and Away 1988. Although they didn't feel she was a suitable role for her the producers were nevertheless amazed and chose to assign Tasha another part. Her debut on TV ran for 3 years. She received an Logie Award in the category of new popular talents. Isabel was transferred from London to Los Angeles in 2008. Her breakout role was with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009. Since then, Isabel has been in a variety of Australian and US productions. She's also won several awards.
